Information we collect
Information you give us
- Order details: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number if you choose to provide it, and the products you buy.
- Personalization text: names or words you ask us to print on a journal cover or bookmark.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, including photos you attach when reporting a problem.
Payment information
Card and wallet payments are handled by Stripe. Your full card number is entered into Stripe’s secure fields and is not stored on our website. We receive limited details such as the payment status, card type and last four digits.
Information collected automatically
When you browse the site, our servers and the store software record technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and the time of your visit. Cookies are described below.
How we use your information
- To process, print, ship and deliver your order, including any personalization.
- To send order confirmations, shipping notices and tracking numbers.
- To reply to questions and handle cancellations, returns and damage reports.
- To detect and prevent fraudulent payments and misuse of the site.
- To keep the site working, fix problems and understand which pages are used.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share only what each party needs to do its job:
- Partner paper print studios that print and pack your order receive your name, shipping address, the items ordered and any personalization text.
- Shipping carriers receive your name, address and, where required, your phone number or email for delivery updates.
- Stripe, our payment processor, receives payment and billing details to charge your card or wallet and to screen for fraud.
- Hosting and email service providers that run our website and send our emails process data on our behalf.
- Authorities, when we are legally required to disclose information.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use:
- Essential cookies that keep items in your cart, remember your session through checkout and keep the site secure. The store cannot work without them.
- Payment cookies set by Stripe during checkout to process payments and help prevent fraud.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, the cart and checkout may not work.
How long we keep data
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil the order, handle returns and meet tax and accounting rules. Email conversations are kept while they are useful for supporting your order. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong or out of date;
- delete your personal information, except where we must keep certain records by law, such as transaction records for tax purposes;
- stop using your email address for anything other than order-related messages.
To make a request, email help@jarvisu.com from the address used for your order, or include your order number so we can confirm it is you. We reply during our support hours and tell you what we have done. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, such as the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Security
The site uses encrypted HTTPS connections, and access to order data is limited to people who need it to handle your order. No method of storing or sending data online is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
Our store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Purchases for younger readers should be made by a parent or guardian.

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page. The current version always applies.
