Our Story

Jarvis U started from a simple idea: the books you read deserve somewhere to be counted. A list on paper, a colored square on the wall, a bookmark that moves from one book to the next. These are small things, and they are what this store is about.

Paper first

There are plenty of ways to log reading on a screen. We chose paper on purpose. Writing a title by hand, giving it a rating and jotting down a line you liked makes the record feel like yours. A poster filling up over the year is something you can see from across the room.

Three products, one purpose

• Reading journals give each book a page for the title, the dates, a rating and your notes.
• Book tracker posters turn a year or a goal into spaces to color in, one book at a time.
• Bookmarks keep your place and, in some designs, track your progress too.

How we put things together

Our team in Vietnam designs the products, manages the store and talks with customers. Printing, binding and trimming are handled by partner paper print studios. Nothing is printed in advance: each order is made after you place it, which is also what makes a printed name possible.

What we keep in mind

We aim to keep layouts clean and easy to fill in, to state timelines and fees in plain numbers, and to fix problems when an order arrives wrong. That is the standard we hold ourselves to with every package.
